Rather predictable result when fifth rankedKoGas (22-18) won against 9th ranked Skygunners (14-27) in Daegu 88-79 on Sunday. KoGas looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who scored that evening 20 points and 9 rebounds and Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) supported him with 19 points and 8 assists. Four KoGas players scored in double figures. Even 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by American center Alan Williams (203-1993, college: UCSB) did not help to save the game for Sono SG . Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. KoGas maintains fifth position with 22-18 record. Loser Skygunners keeps the ninth place with 27 games lost.
